Canadian Motor Carrier Consortium
Ontario Trucking Association offers drug and alcohol testing services through the Canadian Motor Carrier Consortium (CMCC). CMCC was established by the Canadian Trucking Alliance and the provincial trucking associations to enable carriers to comply with USDOT drug and alcohol testing rules. CMCC services are available to all segments of the industry, including truck and bus operators, as well as for-hire and private carriers on a nation-wide basis.
DriverCheck/HealthStar is the exclusive appointed Medical Review Officer (MRO) and
Third Party Administrator (TPA) to the Canadian Motor Carrier Consortium. This appointment provides CMCC participants with access to national, bi-lingual services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
